Zombie trading card

Per the request of my buddy Josh Addessi, I designed a trading card. Something a little new for me. Still, I must say, super fun. Is there a game yet to come? Well…who knows?

“The virign will be with child and will give to a son, and they will call him Immanuel — which means, ‘God with us.’ ”  - Matthew 1:23

“While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room in the inn.” - Luke 2: 6 & 7

Crow

I’m still having a lot of fun with the halftone-ing, so here’s a crow a doodled tonight

“Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting child.” - Luke 2:4-5

Halftone Robber

Some more playing around with a halftone technique. This time, I revisited an old doodle I did a while back, to give it a kinda old-school Dick Tracy look

Jack The Radio fan doodle

One of my favorite local bands here in Raleigh is a Southern-Indie group called Jack the Radio. They have this amazing character on their posters and album covers, so I did this little doodle while playing around with a half-tone technique in photoshop tonightjacktheradio

Advent 2012 #3

advent3

” ‘Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.’ ”

-Luke 1:30-33
